25 June 2005, Anycity, USA-Two dozen men from the local First Baptist Church were involved in heavy fighting today as enemy
forces stepped up attacks on Anycity. Wave after wave of enemy units flung themselves at the soldiers, who were severely outnumbered.
"We have sent out the call for reinforcements," said Pastor Joe Thomas, the local commander for the Allied troops. "I expect
to receive word at any time." When pressed further, he stated that he believed the reinforcements would come in the form of
soldiers from the local area in other commands joining the fight or those same troops going to the army commander, Lord Comfort,
on behalf of the soldiers at Anycity.
The enemy offensive against FBC of Anycity started one week ago in earnest, although Pastor Thomas admits freely that the
enemy had always been in the vicinity. "It started bad, and it's only gotten worse. Every one of my men has faced the enemy.
We have no bodies to spare!"
Most of the attacks come in from the armies of General Lust, General Pride, and General Suspicion, each in the ranks of Lord
Serpent's best generals. "He's not playing games with us, that's for sure," said Ronnie Howell, one of the defenders of FBC
Anycity. "I can't count the wounds that I've received. It's just too much sometimes."
The enemy offensive is believed to be in part due because of the recent advancements of the Kingdom. New, larger shields were
recently issued to the command at Anycity from Lord Comfort, signaling to the enemy that this unit is ready for action. "In
essence, the enemy seems to have waited too long," said Pastor Thomas. "Now they are desperate. Having said that, I've never
been attacked like this, and I've been a Christian for over forty years."
